NIMA-黑莲花

作品简介

NIMA - The Black Lotus is a cinematic art book. It's genre falls somewhere between a manga, an "art-of" book and a video game compendium. In this book, RossDraws presents his original world, characters, and themes. It tells a tale of the protagonist Nima, who must travel to numerous elemental worlds after having her soul fractured and scattered across the universe. This book is the first chapter of her story. 作者的话： NIMA is a true extension of my influences, my childhood inspirations, and who I am as a person. Since I grew up an only child, I often found myself playing alone in my grandma's backyard. There, I spent my time creating worlds and stories and going on adventures with my imaginary friends. Once I was older, I knew I wanted to capture that same childlike energy and create a narrative art book. Although entirely original, NIMA pulls inspiration from my favorite anime, video games, and concept art books I grew up with. Each character is an extension of who I am or a person I know. Since I relied on many of my personal experiences to help shape this world , I feel that it's a true reflection of my life up to this moment.
